In early May, Industrial Caulk and Seal completed the initial mobilization at Reagan National Airport in Northern, VA.

Following a fantastic 4th quarter of 2018 and an unprecedented first quarter in 2019 Industrial Caulk and Seal has promoted Cory Flohr to Vice President Sales and Marketing. Flohr joined the ICS team in 2012 and has been an integral part of the growth of the organization throughout his tenure.
“Cory has been a huge part of our success over the past several years,” stated David Botley, President, Industrial Caulk and Seal, “He has grown to represent (ICS’s) benchmark in the consultative sales process.”
A graduate of West Virginia University, Flohr learned the scopes and process’ of Industrial Caulk and Seal from the ground up and has flourished in his current Project Manager capacity.

ICS Completes another 1 M + square feet Amazon Warehouse in N. Haven, CT
Industrial Caulk and Seal recently completed its second Amazon distribution center in the last eight months.
Following successful completion of a new Baltimore Amazon distribution center in Baltimore, MD in 2018 Industrial Caulk & Seal was awarded the Amazon distribution center in N. Haven, CT and completed the N. Haven facility at the end of the first week of March this year.
“Amazon DC’s are challenging,” states ICS Vice President Chip Marshall, “They represent the pinnacle in the large-scale distribution platform in the US. The Baltimore and the N. Haven facility were no exception. These projects involved multiple scopes for Industrial Caulk and Seal and were completed under the management of two separate General Contractors.”
Industrial Caulk and Seal’s scope in the Baltimore facility included floor coverings throughout the building, polished concrete, epoxy finishes, and a comprehensive tooled caulking package. The recently completed N. Haven facility included polished concrete, semi rigid joint filler, epoxy finishes, and another comprehensive tooled caulking package.
Amazon continues to build large distribution centers throughout the country and continues to evolve into one of the largest retailers in the United States. The Baltimore and the N. Haven facility were the next two regional distribution points in a long line of logistics that has allowed Amazon to put product on people’s doorstep in record time.

ICS Partners with ABC; Keystone in Developing Concrete Repair Curriculum
Industrial Caulk & Seal is working with the Keystone Chapter of Associated Builders and Contractors in the development of a new curriculum at ABC’s Lancaster headquarters
Earlier this month Industrial Caulk and Seal’s executive vice president, CT Marshall, met with the education team from the Keystone branch of Associated Builders and Contractors to begin work on a specific curriculum centered around concrete repair and restoration.
“The concrete repair industry is in dire need of educated craftsman that are fully trained in the specifics of concrete repair,” states Marshall, “ABC Keystone is the perfect partner for this endeavor.”
Though curriculum development could take up to a year to complete, ICS and ABC plan to eventually train men and women in concrete repair in ABC Keystone’s new state of the art training facility outside Lancaster, PA. Currently ABC’s Center for Construction Careers has learning opportunities across several disciplines including carpentry, HVAC, electrical work, plumbing, and sheet metal.
